Hello from Florence =)

or as they call it here… Firenze. Today’s forecast… partly cloudy with a good chance or rain… haha. Ok. So yeah, it rained today. Thank God it was while we were indoors. Last night in Italy, after Pisa tomorrow, I’ll be heading over to Monaco. One more week of vacation left. Lots to tell. Today we went to the Uffizi gallery and the day before to Accademia. I’ve seen so much art in the last two weeks. Its been great! =) Seen a lot of pieces that I’ve studied before and I’m just shocked at how big they turned out to be. Great trip. LOL. So, you’re not supposed to take pics in the galleries. So far, I think my dad’s taken pics at all but one or two. haha. Silly. Oh! Bonus… when I was at Accademia, they had a Robert Mapplethorpe exhibit there! I’ve been wanting to see some of his work. =) So today, we were waiting for the bus.. half hour past and it never came. Turns out, the bus drivers were on strike… yaayy.. =/ so we had to drive there.. parking is kinda a bitch here. haha. its all good. made it there and back in one piece. one more week to go…. =)
