New Year, New Decade.

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone is having a great time partying it up (and being safe)… ringing in the new year. This year I stayed home with my parents. It was cool.. and I wasn’t up for doing much this year. I hope the new year will be a lot better than how 2009 ended.

My toes are cold (and I don’t really like wearing socks). =/

Anyway, wow… another decade, huh? Crazy. Time flies by so fast and I’m really surprised at how fast 2009 came and went. Seems like time is speeding up faster and faster. God just kicked it up a notch.

In other news, I hear my grandma is doing fine. She was in the hospital in Vegas for over a  week. So I was there for a week. She seems to be getting gradually better since then. Although, I’m not sure how long that’s going to last. She has a giant tumor in her liver. But, we got her back home. Next step is to see her doctor and decide on a treatment. Its so funny though… my grandma’s laying in the hospital bed and she’s worried about everyone else. So typical of her. I stayed with her for a couple hours one day at the hospital and she kept worrying that I wasn’t getting enough sleep.. even though she was the one that needed the rest.

Let’s hope for a better year for her. I really think she’s going to be alright.

What an Emotionally Long Week...

…And its only Tuesday. I keep thinking its Wednesday. December is just not a good month at all this year!

So, I’m in Vegas at the moment. Rushed over here after my parents got back from their cruise on Monday. My aunt called me Sunday morning and told us that my grandma is back in the hospital. It’s really serious this time. We just found out after dinner from the doctor that my grandma has a big 7cm tumor. That’s about the size of a large egg. Wow.

But, I mean, besides that, the good news is that she seems to be getting better. She was actually talking today. Now we’ll just wait and see.. hopefully she’ll get better enough to leave the hospital and get transfered to another one in Nor Cal.

Prayers are very much appreciated. Even with this grim outlook, God has been telling me that she’s going to make it through this. And I have faith that she will make it. That’s the only thing that’s keeping me from crying my guts out I think. But of course, there’s also that little voice in my head that’s telling me that I’m only hearing what I want to hear from Him. But I have faith in Him. Only He can decide if she’s going to live or not.
