Wet Naps

Hectic.

Wow. This week just seems so hectic and its only half over!

I’m just stressin’ about the photography class. I developed film for the first time on… Tuesday. That was… interesting. Haha. The first step, you gotta take the film into a totally dark room and put in on this thing called a “reel.” Its crazy how the dark just plays with your mind. Haha. Then after that, its about an hour process to develop the film. Well, after doing that on Tuesday, I found out that most of my pictures didn’t turn out. And so today, I talked with my professor and well, turns out that there’s a problem with the lens part of the camera. So I gotta get it checked out tomorrow. But also, it turns out that I need to make a contact sheet by Monday. So, hopefully, I can get everything done in time. And hopefully the professors will let me use the lab while they are teaching. That would be super. If not, looks like I might have to do everything on Friday at lunch and after class. Hopefully that’s enough time.

But besides all that, looks like its going to be a lot of fun… after I get ride of the first time jitters. =)

What a Long Week..

It’s only the first week of the semester and I feel like I’ve already learned so much! It seems like its going to be a great semester. I’m finally feel like I have great teachers and that I’m going to just learn so much this semester. I’m pretty excited. =)

This week seemed like forever though. Partly, because we attended three classes that we didn’t need too. Waitlisting and trying to add classes are not fun. But I’m happy that my professor decided to add us into his Graphic Design class on Friday. =)

So we’re officially going to school five days a week. Haven’t done that in a while. Not since high school? Yeah… not ideal but whatever.. just gotta suck it up.

Went to LA earlier today. Went to Freestyle Photo and bought some supplies for Creative Photography. Dropped about $200 on stuff. Good cuz I thought it’d be more. After it was off to Little Tokyo for some ramen and mochi ice cream. =) Wish we had a little more time to go to the Griffith Observatory or LACMA but it’s ok. There’s always next time. =) It was fun though.

*sigh* I’m tired.

First Day of the Semester.

Yup.. and it looks like its going to be a busy semester at that. I’ve only been to half of my classes and seems like I’m going to be a lot of work ahead of me. Guess it’ll be good to keep me busy.

Creative Photography is so expensive! I’m so lucky that I found someone who has a camera I can use. Basically we have to use a film SLR camera. Yeah. So without having to buy the camera, I’m still going to be spending about $300 on film supplies. =/ Good thing I have parents to fund my education. LOL. This better improve my photography skills. Haha.

I just hope that the other two classes I have tomorrow aren’t going to cost me much (which it shouldn’t since they’re computer classes) cuz my Art and Child Development book is already another $100.

I was really dreading the start of the semester… but I think it’ll be fine once we get rolling… I think I’m going to like my classes… even with all the work.

There’s a possibility that I may be taking more classes so I can do Art Education. Its about 5 more classes. Maybe.. and surprisingly, my dad is cool with that. And he’s cool with me going to take summer school at Mt. SAC. So, I guess this summer I’m prolly going to summer school.
